On this date in 1830, Mr. H.D. Hyde received a patent for the fountain pen. Fountain pens were the primary instruments to use for writing for over 100 years, with very little change. And, are still in use today.
The way technology is now, could anything be invented today that would still be in use in 2125?

I’m not so sure.
It just came to my attention that I went online with my first post on April Fools Day, and followed that with my second post on Friday the 13th.
Come to think of it, that’s about par for things right now. As I’ve been reminded for years, “things can always get worse.”
And sure enough, they have.
